It is with regret that we announce the end of South Loop School's Amazon.com fundraiser. A recent tax law change here in IL caused Amazon to close all of their affiliate stores in the state. Since the program began in late 2009, our community raised over $1,600.  While our fundraisers generally do not earmark proceeds for a specific use, the school recently used approximately that amount in order to purchase E-Book readers in the primary department.  In addition to enhancing reading for all students, they are also used as a tutoring resource. Thank you everyone for your support.  Be on the lookout for future South Loop School fundraisers!
