Fine Arts Night - South Loop School

Greetings South Loop Parents and Families,

The South Loop Fine Arts Night is fast approaching.  This event will be an evening full of musical performances, visual, drama, dance and all other arts that display the hard work of South Loop students.  The Fine Arts Night will take place Wednesday, May 25, 2011 in the South Loop gymnasium at 6:30pm.  It is MANDATORY that ALL 4^th, 5^th and 7^th grade general music students and 4^th through 8^th grade band students be in attendance for this performance.  This is a major event and those students are expected to perform as part of their music or band grade. 

Tickets for this event will be sold by South Loop students who are participating in the Fine Arts Night.  Due to the overwhelming number of students who are selling tickets, no more tickets can be given out to students at this time.  If your child is selling tickets please make sure they return the money or unsold tickets to Mr. Zettl or Ms. Anders by Wednesday, May 18,^, 2011.  The student who sells the most tickets will receive a $50 visa gift card.  Tickets purchased in advance will be $5.  Tickets purchased at the door will be $8.  We cannot guarantee that seats will be available on the night of the event.  So, please purchase your tickets in advance from a South Loop student or from Ms. Anders or Mr. Zettl.  Funds raised from the Fine Arts Night will be used to purchase and improve band instruments and supplies, purchase art supplies and resources for the vocal music program.
