South Loop Extended Day Program Mission & Vision
South Loop Elementary School and Youth Guidance, a non-profit organization, work collaboratively to foster the development of a vibrant community of learners at South Loop School. Our developing community school supports student academic achievement, increased parental and community involvement during extended school hours. Focused on the needs of South Loop students and students from the community, we continue to seek partnerships to create an enriching and safe place for youth.
The Extended Day Program
The Extended Day Program, located in South Loop Elementary School,
offers students the opportunity to participate in a diverse range of
activities including; drama, dance, art, creative writing, music, yoga,
sports, and academic enrichment workshops. The program runs Monday through
Friday from 2:45 pm until 6 pm during the academic school year. A Summer
