    South Loop Elementary School will be hosting it's annual Spring Benefit with glamour and glitz this year as always. This wonderful event will take place on May 11th, 2012 at the beautiful Marmon Grand Ballroom, where we will all get to kick our heels and enjoy an evening of fun, dancing, delicious hors d'oeuvres, libations and a silent auction to benefit the stars that light our lives, our children. Please join us from 6:15pm - 10:00pm and have a ball. Tickets are $80.00 per person.

    Parents, don't be shy. Get out there and contact anyone you know who would like to donate to this good cause today. Monetary donations may be made online or by using the form below.     The 2012 Spring Benefit Ad Book will reach 500 families in the South Loop Elementary School community. Your tax-deductible donation funds performing arts and supplemental programs for the South Loop Elementary School (K-8) in Chicago.

    Child Care

    The Family Involvement Group (F.I.G.) and Youth Guidance, South Loop School’s Extended Day provider, have again teamed up to provide childcare for students enrolled at South Loop Elementary School (SLES), South Loop Early Childhood Center (ECC) and their siblings (ages 3 and up and must be potty-trained) whose parent/guardian is attending the Spring Benefit. Students do NOT have to be enrolled in the extended day program to participate. Child care registration deadline is Wednesday, May 2nd.

    Where: South Loop Elementary School, 1212 S. Plymouth Court

    When: Friday, May 11th from 6:00-11:00 p.m. Parents may drop-off after 6 p.m. and pick-up before 11 p.m. as indicated on your childcare registration form, but students may miss some activities. Dinner will be served between 6:15-7:15 p.m.

    Cost: $25 per child; $10 each additional child in the same family. This price includes pizza dinner, drinks and activities. Parents whose children are not currently enrolled in the extended day program, but would like childcare from 2:45-6 p.m. on May 11th, may register for the additional hours for an additional $25 per student.
